Celebrate 3 Whirlwind Years of Networks Centre The Netherlands
Thursday 1st February 2024 marks 3 years since the launch of Networks Centre’s Netherlands office, and what a wonderfully productive 3 years it has been. Let’s take a look back at some of the highlights since the grand opening in 2021.
If you don’t know them already, Networks Centre The Netherlands is currently operated by a dedicated team of 5: Tjeerd, Han, Ronald, Robert and Jan Pieter. Their collaboration, expertise and commitment to providing high-quality service keeps the train running smoothly on its tracks and we are grateful for their continuous hard work.
Starting out working from home and in a shared office space, the team finally got the keys to the official Networks Centre The Netherlands office in August 2021. With all hands on deck, the team took the time to learn about each department of the business so they could collaborate effectively and help each other, no matter the task. Within the first year, Networks Centre The Netherlands saw incredible growth with the first notable order closed in 2021 for a large data centre on the outskirts of Amsterdam.
Building a reputation of versatility, flexibility, and transparency, Networks Centre The Netherlands started making noise across the industry within the Dutch market. A focus on turnaround time helped us to stand out in the market and meant that we were able to always say ‘yes’, making the impossible possible for our customers and taking away their concerns.
Networks Centre The Netherlands reached its tipping point during 2022, resulting in a customer base that grew exponentially.
In 2023, Networks Centre The Netherlands began offering supply chain services including labelling patch cords, waste removal, labelling fibre and copper trunks for data centre purposes, and stockholding, further solidifying our place in the market. At the end of 2023, we acquired additional warehouse space, giving our team and customers further opportunities.
Starting strong, we invited customers and vendors including Panduit, Fluke Networks, Legrand, and Chemtronics to a Grand Opening Boat Trip in June 2022.
The event began with drinks and mingling at the vendor fair, followed by a 2-hour riverboat cruise. Once docked, there was a prize draw, sponsored by our vendors, where one lucky person walked away with an iPad. The day was a huge success and great fun for everyone who attended, and so the tradition of an annual boat trip was born.
June 2023 rolled around before long and it was time for another annual boat trip. Customers and vendors Panduit, R&M, Legrand, and Fluke Networks joined a handful of Networks Centre staff on not one, but two riverboats this year.
Kicking off with a meet & greet, guests climbed aboard two riverboats for a cruise in the shining sun. How do you top that? We’ll tell you- with a BBQ and a raffle to win an Apple Watch! The event was a fantastic experience for everyone and we look forward to the next one in 2024.

In 2023, Networks Centre The Netherlands introduced R&M as a new supplier, offering their copper and fibre cabling systems, monitoring, and network management solutions. With a focus on sustainability, our common goals and interests align, resulting in a powerful partnership.
We are also the proud exclusive distributor of INNO Instrument’s full product range including Fusion Splicers and Fibre Cleavers. Our team in The Netherlands offer their expertise and services with INNO Instrument’s products such as maintenance and data analysis.
At the end of 2023, Networks Centre The Netherlands and R&M hosted a Roadshow event with Fluke Networks and INNO Instrument Inc. as special guests.
The equipped R&M bus was driven to various customers by our sales representative Robert and parked up for an open day.
Visitors of the mobile showroom received a hands-on demonstration of the data centre and LAN solutions that R&M offer as well as Fluke Networks and INNO Instrument Inc.’s exceptional product offering.
We haven’t just been busy with events; Networks Centre The Netherlands has also assisted customers and end users with efficient and effective solutions to their projects.
A notable case study is the end-to-end data solution Networks Centre The Netherlands provided for a global security company. A new testing lab and on-premise data centre needed to be built in The Netherlands however, there were structural and containment issues with the existing building.
Our experienced team proposed a suitable solution for the containment of the cold air feeding and hot air exhausting from the servers. Working directly with the vendor, end user and contractors, an end-to-end complete functional solution was reached and delivered within the customer’s desired timeline.
In the past 3 years, Networks Centre the Netherlands has seen increasing success as a business and as a team. We would like to say a huge ‘thank you‘ to all of our customers, suppliers and partners, longstanding and more recent, as we step into our 4th and best year yet.
