Full Name:
Charlotte Manning
How long have you been at Networks Centre?
4 years and 6 months!
What made you want to join our team?
I wanted to try account management in a new industry.
Tell us, what does a ‘normal’ day at work look like for you?
There is no normal day! Every day is a learning day and we’re always faced with new requests and challenges to take.
What is your favourite/most rewarding part of the job?
Finding solutions to problems, helping customers achieve great results and saving the day!
What 3 words best describe Networks Centre?
Energetic, Dedicated, Food-Orientated!
How do you ensure success for customers?
Responding promptly, helping with whatever we can, being open and honest with expectations and striving for the best!
How have you grown professionally while on our team?
I originally started in Customer Services, moved into sales and became a Junior, now I’m fully fledged and I also help to train up new starters. So I think I’ve done pretty well in 4 years!
What is the one accomplishment, at work, that you are most proud of? Why?
I went to Glasgow and trained up the lads there, I was proud to have the responsibility to pass on the Networks Centre way!
What characteristics and skills do you value in team members?
I value team members that can take ownership and just crack on with the task at hand, where nothing is too much. We’re lucky that we have lots of these here so there’s always someone to bounce off, who can provide you with information and show you the way.
Let's find out a bit more about Charlotte...
Here’s some quick-fire questions to help us learn more about the person behind the job role!
Talk us through what your perfect weekend plans would be.
I wish I could be one of those go getter’s that’s out climbing mountains for fun but I’m always late to rise! A perfect weekend to me would be as simple as good food, good company, a good book and a sunset beach walk!
What was your childhood dream job?
Teaching English.
If you could have an unlimited supply of one thing at the office, what would it be and why?
I don’t know! I’d definitely be down for a vending machine though… that’s kind of unlimited snacks?
What is your hidden talent?
I am organised if that counts? Oh and I can eat a doughnut in one mouthful ha!
It’s “Bring your favourite animal to work day”! What animal are you bringing?
Sloths are pretty cool (purely because they can house an entire ecosystem in their fur and they always look like they’re smiling)
If we gave you £5 to spend in a local corner shop, what would you buy and why?
Milky way crispy rolls… as many as £5 will get me.
