The third party approved 10GPlus Zone Cable provides high bandwidth performance in horizontal wiring in structured cabling installations, in datacentres and storage area networks (SAN's), and in shorter length backbones.
What is a ‘Zone’ cable?
‘Zone’ cable is a solid wire, small diameter, lightweight foil screened twisted pair shielded cable. The cables are finished in Low Fire Hazard halogen free materials. The Brand-Rex Zone cable is designed to support Class EA application 10GBASE-T. Where should you install zone cables?

The IPD-2220ES is a 2MP/1080P HD IP internal low profile camera that compliments LILIN’s established iMEGAPRO II range. 21 August 2012 - LILIN announce partnership with software manufacturer, icomply.
LILIN are pleased to announce that they have entered into a technology partnership with icomply. icomply are developers of the VTAS Pro software, the Integrated Security Application system.
Under the new technology partnership, LILIN’s range of DVR’s and HD IP cameras will be integrated into the VTAS pro PSIM platform. This will enable seamless control over the LILIN product range through the VTAS software.

24 February 2012 - Beat the tax man! Reduction in Capital Allowances
From 1 April 2012 (6 April for unincorporated businesses) the availability of the Annual Investment Allowance (100% tax relief on equipment in the first year) will reduce from £100,000 to £25,000. If you are looking to purchase the equipment it therefore would be worth accelerating this expenditure where possible.
If the equipment is purchased past this date and your accounting year end is not 31 March or 5 April, it may be that this £25,000 allowance is restricted further to as little as £2,083.
As a result of this change it may take over 25 years for a business to get the tax relief on an item of equipment.We recommend that you consult with your business advisor or accountant for further advice and confirmation.

10 October 2011 - KBC Unveils New WESII Wireless Transmission Range
KBC WESII Launches Globally
London, UK 14th September 2011 – KBC Networks, manufacturer of industrial transmission equipment, has introduced its WESII wireless transmission range. The point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless Ethernet units are now available globally, offering a flexible and low-cost solution where it’s not possible or cost-effective to install cable.
Supporting a 10/100 Ethernet interface, the KBC WESII units provide wireless connectivity for a range of IP devices such as megapixel or HD cameras, DVRs, encoders & decoders and web servers. IEEE802.11a/n and 802.11h compliance means that the WESII units operate in the license-free 5GHz band; feature MIMO technology to increase system throughput and transmission distance, and comply with DFS and TPC standards (Dynamic Frequency Selection and Transmit Power Control). The units provide up to 100Mbps of usable throughput and employ WPA2 encryption to prevent unauthorised access.
The KBC WESII units are straightforward to set up and configure. They feature a built-in site survey tool to assess local, in-band noise which allows an appropriate transmission frequency to be selected. In addition, an antenna alignment tool gives the ability to check the signal strength at the client and the host end, ensuring that the antennas are positioned to use the optimal signal path.
Built to perform in unconditioned environments, the WESII products have weatherproof casings, wide operating temperature ranges (-40 - +74°C) and passive midspan compliant PoE support. The units come with the option of a number of directional and omni-directional antennas.

Conham Rangers were established in 1949 and play in the Bristol Downs League. The club draws players from all over Bristol and says it will always welcome new players "with a warm heart and glowing smile".
A major part of the Rangers' football philosophy is that no matter what the results on a Saturday might be, they can be found in the Post Office Tavern after the match discussing life, and more importantly footy, over a pint or three whilst watching the results come in. Conham Rangers play their football in the Fourth Division of the Down's League.

Brand-Rex is proud to confirm that their global organisational and operational activities have achieved Carbon Neutral Status in accordance to PAS2060.
PAS2060 was launched by the British Standards Institute (BSI) in June 2010. The standard, designed by a group of both public and private sector organisations allows the transparency of carbon neutrality claims by providing a common definition and recognised method of achieving carbon neutral status. All organisations should be aware of what impact they have on the environment. Brand-Rex is committed to reducing their carbon footprint year on year. Their target is to reduce their emissions by 20% by 2015.
Brand-Rex sells more cable in the UK than anyone else. The production of this cable inevitably means a lot of electricity is used in their factory – Although they are aware this has a negative impact on the environment, they are reducing their impact on the environment all the time by utilising sustainable energy sources and materials. Fluke have recently changed their Gold Support offering to make it even more attractive.
Previously, when returning a unit for calibration, there was no loan unit provided. Calibration generally takes 2 weeks and Fluke will never give a return date so the you the customer can be without a tester for some time with no real indication of when it will be back. This makes it impossible for you to schedule work and therefore ends up costing you Time, Money and possibly Customers. Big problem! Until now!!
With immediate effect, Gold customers can now book a loan unit for when they return their units for calibration. It has to be done at least 6 weeks in advance and is booked through your normal gold support website contact.

Networks Centre’s Christmas Opening Hours… Our official final dispatch date in 2010 will be 23rd December, however orders dispatched on this date will be subject to a payable timed delivery for the following day (pre 9am, pre 10:30am or pre 12noon). Our offices will then re-open on Tuesday 4th January 2011, when our normal opening hours will be resumed.
