Networks Centre is proud to once again be supporting Networkshop this year in Liverpool on 27-28 March. We will be joined by some of our prestige manufacturing partners including Leviton (previously Brand-Rex), Prism, Raritan and Socomec who’s complementary products we will be showcasing.
CPR Focus: The Construction Products Regulations and the recent UK interpretation of specification BS 6701* to meet Fire safety standards are having a major impact on the specifying and procurement of data cables.
Visit us at stand number 30 and speak to our team to learn what this means and how Leviton have revised their range of data cables to meet compliance - if you are specifying or implementing network infrastructure cabling (new build or additions), you need to be aware of how this impacts your choices.
Leviton’s, Tony Benn, will be at Networkshop46 on the 28th March to present his talk on Construction Product Regulation and Its Impact on Installations. This presentation covers the introduction of CPR and the formalisation of British Standards defining where higher performance reaction to fibre cables shall be used. Don’t miss it!
Networkshop coincides with the European launch of the Leviton Atlas-X1 Cat 8 Shielded System.
The system supports up to 25 and 40 Gb/s in the data centre access layer, with a trusted RJ-45 interface used in networks around the world. The superb Atlas-X1 will also be available in Cat 5e, 6, and 6A, offering the same, tool-less, easy to terminate, high quality and performance. To understand the application of Cat 8 Watch our video
Complementing Atlas copper solutions, we will also be showcasing the Leviton HDX high-density cassette-based fibre management providing up to 144 fibres (LC) in one rack space but scaling up to 864 fibres using MTP cassettes, facilitating upgrade from 10Gb/s to 40 or 100Gb/s without the need of additional rack space. Complementing Leviton copper & fibre cabling solutions we will be presenting products from two leading rack power and management equipment manufacturers:
Raritan will be presenting their new range of fully featured modular innovative Zero-U Cabinet PDU’s. Careful thought and years of experience have led to this product range which has been designed for Data Centres and other Critical Facilities. Unique features such as inbuilt power supply cord locking, 330-degree variable orientation for cable entry, clever screw-less mounting and a range of accessories such as locking caps make this PDU stand out from the crowd for its versatility and functionality.
Socomec’s range of high-end professional power solutions is ideal to provide backup protection for servers, storage devices, emergency lighting and other mission-critical applications running on campus sites. The NETYS & ITYS ranges of UPS span all single-phase requirements from 600VA up to 24kVA. The rack-mounted ranges feature either line-interactive sine wave Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) or online double conversion (VFI) which ensures protection against supply fluctuations as well as integrated protection for LAN connection. Optional battery extension modules (EBM) can be added to extend back up times or support increased loads.
Networks Centre will have the reputable F1 Prism cabinet on the stand to showcase all the above-mentioned products. The Prism FI enclosure is an innovative enclosure constructed from an extruded aluminium platform, with a high perforation rate for maximum airflow. The aluminium frame provides superior strength holding up to 1300kg and with its reduced weight is easily moved into any location. To register for your tickets to Networkshop46, CLICK HERE.
